This wonderful luxury one-bedroom apartment (70 square meters) has been redesigned by an architect and is owned by a French decorator whose design flair features prominently in the interior.
The apartment is reached by climbing two flights of stairs, from where it looks out over a tree-filled courtyard garden. Upon entering the apartment, you are immediately in the spacious living room, which also contains a contemporary open kitchen and a dining area.
The large living room features two full-length, double-glazed French windows for a bright, airy and quiet ambiance. As one would expect, the room is beautifully decorated, with a controlled use of warm colors. Seating is comfortable and generous, with one sofa bed and several armchairs. The shelves of books and original artwork bring a wonderfully cultured feel. It's a room you will be glad to come home to after a long day out.
The bedroom features a king-size bed and large, custom-fitted wardrobes. The lighting in the room is particularly subtle and successful. You will sleep well here, enjoying perfect peace and quiet even with the window open on the beautiful courtyard.
The bathroom, ensuite to the bedroom, is finished in fresh shades of green and features a bathtub with a handheld shower head that can mount to the wall, sink and toilet.

The Montorgueil street is known for its lively and colorful open-air market.
A stone's throw from the Louvre and the Seine, you cannot beat the central location of this Paris apartment rental. The neighbouring pedestrian Quartier Montorgueil embodies the essence of authentic Parisian life and has been called the 'new urban village' of Paris. One of the capital's most colorful market streets, it is home to some of its best restaurants, cafes and food shops.
(Indeed, Queen Elizabeth was paraded here on her visit to Paris in 2004 to celebrate the centenary of the 'Entente Cordial'. Apparently, she loved the cakes from the famed Stohrer bakery, where you may find yourself on many a morning.)
The adjacent Place des Victories, designed by Place Vendome's Hardouin Mansart, forms an intimate circle around a statue of Louis XIV and today is dedicated to the designer names of fashion.
This apartment is also walking distance from the renowned Centre Cultural Georges Pompidou, or Beaubourg, which contains Paris' Museum of Modern Art. Another asset of this location is the closeness of Paris' most important monuments and tourist points of interest such as the Louvre Museum, and the majestic Tuileries gardens.
Only a stone's throw away are the Seine river and its delightful islands, the Ile de la Cite, home of Notre Dame Cathedral, and Ile Saint Louis, where a 'petit café' can be enjoyed at leisure. This location is ideal for a Paris apartment rental whether it is for short term stay or long term stay.
