This 225 m2 apartment is a penthouse situated in a discreet street right in the middle of the 8th district, just a few steps away from the Champs Elysees and Fabourg Saint Honore. Here you are in one of the best places in Paris, near boutiques, restaurants and business districts. The apartment is located only a few meters away from the Canadian Embassy and it’s just next to the Saint Philipe du Roule metro station.
An elevator will take you to the 5th floor from where a small flight of steps separates it from the rest of the apartments. When you enter the apartment, you will instantly fall in love with the space, the light, and the furniture. The owners of this nice “pied a terre” show a great deal of interest for the purity of lines, something that you will soon enough get to feel when here.
The living room colors are all in a declination of white with a few pop art pieces and paintings diseminated here and there with style. The 8th arrondissement is home to the Avenue des Champs-Elysées, probably the most famous avenue in the world. This is a district where the celebrities of fashion design, painting, cinema and theatre are born.
This impressive promenade stretches from the Place the la Concorde to the Place Charles de Gaulle, the site of the Arc de Triomphe.
Its western end is bordered by cinemas, theatres, cafés and luxury shops. Near the Place de la Concorde, the street is bordered by the Jardins des Champs-Elysées, beautifully arranged gardens with fountains and some grand buildings including the Grand and Petit Palais on the southern side and the Elysée at its northern end.
The Champs-Elysées is the main site for all Paris' major celebrations. This is where Parisians celebrate New Year's Eve and where the military parades are held on the 14th of July. Historic national events, like the Liberation at the end of the second World War or the victory in the World Cup are also celebrated here.
The 8th is also home to the Arc de Triomphe, and close to the Trocadero and Palais de Chaillot, Madeleine church, Concorde Plaza, the Palais de la Decouverte, Petit Palais Museum, and the Grand Palais.
Evenings in the 8th mean a dizzying selection of restaurants and French brasseries, and famous shows like the Lido or the Crazy Horse.
For those coming to Paris on business, you'll be near several business centers, such as Porte Maillot, La Defense, and not far from the Charles de Gaulle Airport and Orly Airports.
