With lots of natural light, beautifully exposed ceiling beams (very typical of old Parisian buildings), skylights, high-end decor, this beautiful abode is a true luxury Parisian apartment.

Louvre Palais Royal III

With its original hardwood floors and ornate high ceilings along with its modern chic decor, nothing says luxury more than this apartment! Also, there is a small balcony that overlooks the Louvre museum!

This stunning property comes with 3 spacious bedrooms and a modern bathroom for each room. Located in the luxurious 7th District, the property is right beside the Eiffel Tower

Saint Germain des Pres - Luxembourg Guynemer

Right near the Jardin du Luxembourg and minutes from Saint Germain des prés, this three individualy decorated bedroom luxury jewel has way more to it than just the modern conveniences!

Fashion Week

Few events are as much a part of Paris as this one. Unquestionably, one of the most important and iconic weeks in the city. For economic reasons, for culture and just simply for knowing what to wear from January 18th to 22nd and then from January 22nd to 26th, there are two huge events taking place and all eyes are on Paris. If you're lucky enough to have a ticket to the shows, then you can truly consider yourself to be in an elite circle. For many, its about the parties and the socialising or if you are just visiting for the weekend, then try to soak up the atmosphere

January 18th to 22nd is Paris Men's Fashion Week. In an industry largely dominated by female clothing, this event has fallen under the radar for many years. But thanks to the 21st Century and the Age of the Metrosexual, that is all changing. Luxury suits from Hugo Boss and Armani will line the catwalk, as new and established designers and brands compete for your attention. Inside sources claim that the Burberry 2017 Collection from London is just one of many names that you should pay attention to. Expect events to be scattered around the city.

Straight after that event, it's the Haute Couture Fashion Week. For me, this is my personal favourite. These events incorporate both men and women and represent the best in avant guarde fashion art for the year 2017 from across the entire globe. This event, really is a remarkable, inspiring and completely bizarre cross section of where we and Paris is at right now. Expect to be confused and whispering things like " who would wear that", "how can you wear that", from behind your programme.

Chinese New Year

If you are a bit like me, you probably get post New Year blues. After the party and after the hangover and all the cleaning and all the resolutions, its just another year. So what exactly are we supposed to do? What will make us happy again? Yes, that's right, do it all over again. Thank you China.

This year, Chinese New Year arrives on Saturday January 28th. Like every other major city in the world, Paris has a large and very diverse China town in the 13th district. The annual parade is not to be missed. A cool and stylish mix of lanterns, giant serpents and costumes line the streets

There is also a mix of culture with live music planned until late at night and also some martial arts shows with drums. You're advised to get there early as it can get quite crowded and if you want to eat at some of the amazing local restaurants (and you should), go early around 6pm.

The January Gym

January can often be viewed as a depressing month. It's cold and dark. The excitement of Christmas has passed and everyone wants to stay away from drinking, eat healthy and join a gym. You're probably one of them. Admittedly, so am I. But who says exercise has to be boring? I know what you're thinking - "I'm not going to Paris on my holidays to exercise". I agree, but
if you have the typical post Christmas guilt and you want to do something to justify having all that cheese, then try these exciting ideas.

 Pari Rollar

First started in the 1993, this weekly event takes place on a Friday night and includes all kinds of levels. So if you are a bit wobbly on your feet, don't worry. What is it? Rollerblading! Yes. It's fun, it's good exercise and it's a great way to meet people.
This is a very different experience from taking a romantic cruise down the Seine. There's a good international mix, but don't expect to feel like a tourist as it's mostly Parisians and it's mostly in French.

Climbing in Buttes Chaumont

If group activities are not really your thing and you'd much rather do something alone or with the people that you're travelling with, then why not try rock climbing. A great way to exercise (especially your upper body) and possibly get a good view of the city. There are hundreds of places where you can try this, both indoors and outdoors. I know its cold but this one is my favourite and it's a truly beautiful park.
Rue Botzaris, 19th.

Spotlight on Shopping

From the 6th of January the winter sales start in Paris. Les Halles is a good all round location for shopping. People have been coming here since medieval times to shop and today it offers a cool mix of local and international brands. Expect, quite a few tourists as it's a pretty well known place. But you should be able to find everything that you need and whats more ( for me, this is the silver lining), there's a great selection of bars and restaurants in the area. With up to 70% off in some stores, you can expect chaos, so be fast and be ready.
