Paris in March 2025: What to Expect

I'm so excited for March 2025 here in Paris and so should you! If you're in my hometown this March, you can go to all sorts of exciting events the city has in store. Well, March in Paris is always a good time since this is usually when spring arrives. I suggest seeing the city's cherry blossoms to absorb the new season! Then there's the Paris Half Marathon, Foire du Trône (Throne Fair), and the Chatou Antique Fair, among many others. I'll be front and center for many of these events and it’ll all be a good time!

See International Artists Live in Paris!

I'm always up for a good concert and I'm so excited for what Paris has in store this March 2025. The one I'm most pumped about is the now-Grammy Award-winning artist, Sabrina Carpenter, who will be performing at the Accor Arena from March 16 to 17, 2025. Thank goodness I live in the Latin Quarter since it's near the 12th arrondissement where the arena is, so I don't have to stress about getting there on time. For any of you Lenny Kravitz fans out there, the singer-songwriter will take to the stage at La Defense Arena on March 29, 2025.

Experience Carnaval de Paris 2025

Are you ready for Carnaval de Paris? I am! For those who don't know, we have our own annual Mardi Gras festival in Paris based on our ancient tradition, La Promenade du Boeuf Gras (March of the Fat Beef Cow). It's a colorful parade that's equal parts the famous Mardi Gras in New Orleans and the iconic Rio Carnival in Brazil. Unfortunately, I admit that the parade here isn't as big and as extravagant as those more well-known events, but it's still a party! Feather-adorned dancers and colorfully costumed locals take to the streets and dance their butts off!

Witness All The Craziness at Paris Fashion Week

Paris Fashion Week is always crazy and you should be prepared for it! Though it's not open to the public, we're still very much affected by it. There are more traffic jams, many areas are crowded by photographers and posing influencers, and some of the more popular restaurants are almost always full. And they're not just in one specific part of the city. You never know where the big brands hold their fashion shows. Chanel always holds theirs in the Grand Palais, Saint Laurent Paris often has theirs anywhere near the Eiffel Tower, but that's about it. When: March 3 to 11, 2025

Shop for Antiques at Foire de Chatou 2025

I'm sure you haven't heard of Foire de Chatou before but I assure you, this is a must-see event! It's the biggest and one of the oldest antique fairs in France held in Ile des Impressionnistes in the Paris suburbs. It's no secret that we Parisians love vintage stuff so I'm always here every year. I got many of the best antiques in my home from here. I tell you—it's a treasure trove of antiques, old toys, vintage fashion, and more. Some stalls are pricer than others, but this won't necessarily drain your bank account.

Watch The Paris Half Marathon

I admit I'm not the athletic type, but I never miss seeing the Paris Half Marathon and the Paris Marathon every year. The 2025 edition of the former will take place on March 9th. Much like the more famous Paris Marathon, the route is all over the city, starting from Place de la Bastille and passing through many of the iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and Hôtel de Ville. I have to say, it's pretty inspiring to see the participants do their best every year. I've come to know some of them and they've motivated me to improve my fitness too.

Check Out “Art Is in the Streets” in Musee d'Orsay

Finally, I get to recommend an art exhibition in Paris! You can check out the new “Art Is in the Streets” exhibition in the famous Musee d'Orsay when it begins on March 18, 2025. You should already check out the iconic Paris museum anyway since it's a must-see! It's right up there among the city's best, like the Louvre, Centre Pompidou, and more. So what is “Art Is in the Streets” all about? It's a retrospective of Belle Époque street posters illustrated by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Pierre Bonnard, Eugène Grasset, and other masters of the time.

Welcome Spring in Paris

The best part about being in Paris this March 2025—or any other year, for that matter—is that you get to join the city welcome spring. The seasons change usually around mid to late March, and this year, the experts are saying that March 20th will be the start of spring. Winter arrived pretty early last December so I expect that the days leading up the March 20 will probably start feeling warmer. I'm so excited since I'm already over this chilly weather and can't wait to lessen the layers of my daily wardrobe. Naturally, Paris is also its most beautiful every spring!

Have Fun at the Start of Foire du Trône

Another reason why I'm so excited about spring in Paris this 2025 is that it's also when Foire du Trône will start. This annual fun fair is the biggest in the city, complete with thrilling carnival rides, fun games, cool parties, and a whole slew of awesome snack stalls. It's always in Pelouse de Reuilly in Bois de Vincennes and it's one of the best places to have fun every spring. It's great for hanging out with friends, perhaps on a cheap date with your partner, or meeting new people if you're new here. I love it!

From its annual half-marathon to many fairs and concerts, Paris in March 2025 will be lit! Since spring will also arrive at this time of the year, the city will get livelier and lovelier, making it the go-to place for the month!
