Renovated and refurnished in 2015, the dual level apartment is just a stone's throw from the Jardin des Plantes. You will enter the apartment on the upper level, which is the communal area with the spacious 35 square metre living room, dining room and kitchen while the two bedrooms are on the lower level, via the staircase.

The living room can accommodate an additional two guests on the double sofa bed (for a short term stay). There is also a dining table that seats 6 in the spacious living room. Different accents of blue against the white furniture, parquet floor and beech dining table will remind guests a little of the Mediterranean. Double-glazed windows run all along the living room, overlooking the quiet interior courtyard, but letting in lots of lovely sunlight. There is also cable television and a quality sound system for entertainment purposes.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a full fridge and freezer, electric stove top, oven, microwave oven, electric kettle, toaster, coffee machine and dishwasher. The washer/dryer can also be found in the kitchen.

Next to the kitchen is the shared WC for the apartment.

The bedrooms on the lower level also enjoy the same noise protection with double-glazed windows, and are almost equally sized (3 square metre difference). They share a bathroom (without WC) on the same level, with a double-basin set-up and spacious standing shower. One has a King-sized bed and the other has two single beds, both with a wardrobe and nightstand.

It is located on the 2nd floor with elevator, making it very convenient to access.

Most refer to Saint Germain as the true heart of Paris, and certainly this district has a long cultural history - home to the famous cafes where philosophers, writers, artists and musicians debated, discussed, and brought their ideas and inspiration to life.

The Latin quarter (Quartier Latin to the locals) was built by the Romans eons ago, and owes its name to the classes once taught in Latin at the cultural icon - the Universite de Sorbonne. This educational history creates a fertile area for more intellectual discourse between schools, colleges and museums found in the area.

Within walking distance is the Institute of the Arab World right on the banks of the Seine (with a great view of the city at its top level), the Mosque of Paris (taste the mint tea in a Moorish café), the National Natural History Museum (a fantastic gallery of evolution with the Menagerie), the acclaimed Jardin des Plantes, the National museum of the Middle Ages (visit its thermal baths), the Pantheon, the Huchette Theatre ... the list goes on.

And for a break, amble along the bustling Rue Mouffetard with its restaurants. Make time as well for a coffee in Saint Germain des Prés with the Cafe de Flore and the Deux Magots, or even the famous Brasserie Lipp.

Don't forget to visit the beautiful Luxembourg Garden and one of the most famous meeting points in Paris - the fountain of Saint Michel.
