This apartment is brilliant!
Located in Rue Monge in a vibrant neighborhood of the 5th arrondissement, it is surrounded by a wide variety of shops including no less than five boulangeries/pattiseries, two supermarkets, a fishmonger, a butcher, multiple banks with ATMs and three metro stations, all within 5 minutes walk. One metro station is just opposite the apartment in street to it.
Rue Monge is one street away from Rue Mouffetard which is packed wth restaurants and the fabulous market which opens six days a week except Monday. There is mini fresh food market in the Rue Monge metro square down the road every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
The apartment was recently renovated. The living and dining area is large with a good quality and comfortable sofa bed.
The bedrooms are spacious with sufficient storage for a very comfortable stay.
The kitchen is very well maintained with a great oven, a medium sized fridge and a dishwasher.
The bathroom is very well laid out and one of the most functional bathrooms I have come across in the multiple WTF apartments I have stayed in Paris. It has a very useful vanity with dual sinks in addition to a wall mounted vanity, a spacious shower recess, enough wall hooks for towels and clothes, a large wall mounted heater, which heats the bathroom effectively.
Give this apartment a go if you are looking to stay in a traditional but "non-touristy" area of Paris.
This is the best apartment we have stayed in Paris.
It is one we would be happy to stay in again.

We stayed in this apartment for a long time and loved it. For one, this is a wonderful part of the 5th arrondissement, full of stores and restaurants and not as touristy as other parts of the city. It is centrally located, easy to get anywhere by foot, or bike, of subway. The apartment itself has a large living room, a well appointed kitchen, a modern bathroom, and two very nice bedrooms. Everything is modern, clean, well lit. It can get a bit hot during warm summer days, but the owners have left three fans. Alicia (our contact before and during the rental) was a model of professionalism. Highly-recommended.

The flat was excellent. Furnishings from linens to kitchen and living were all beautiful, clean and fresh. The corner location provided wonderful cross breezes. The Rue Monge location is the best in Paris very near everything, yet not a crush of tour buses etc. Easy access to the Metro, and the local outdoor market 3 days a week make it a very comfortable place to live.
Within a block there was a Patisserie, Cheese shop, Wine shop, Boulangerie, Carrefor grocery...a real neighborhood.
The greeter, Valentin was on time and very helpful explaining everything about the flat. The building was very quiet. The flat has new windows so street noise was never an issue. It is a very safe neighborhood. Ten days flew by. This is a flat one could easily live in for a longer stay as well. We were 3 adults and 1 teenager.

Fabulous apartment, with great location, clean and new furniture and appliances. Right outside you have several cafes, bakeries, an outdoor market, Carrefour express, bank machines, a metro station and everything else needed. It was a short walk to the heart of the Quartier Latin, Ile de la Cite, Jardin de Luxembourg, Jardin de Plantes. The hosts Alicia and Valentin were very helpful and quick to reply. Couldn't recommend more highly.
