This part of Rue Bourgogne is near Rue Saint Dominique and Rue de l'Universitie by the National Assembly. You can walk to some of the major tourist attractions such as Napolean's Tomb, Rodin museum, the Orsay museum, Bourbon palace and even cross the river to Place de la Concorde.
There are plenty of bakeries and grocery stores nearby should you wish to cook in your home away from home. However, that should not stop you from dining out in one of the lovely French restaurants in the neighborhood (there are many on Rue Bourgogne alone!). You can also picnic along the Esplanade des Invalides.
The Assemblee Nationale metro (Line 12) is just minutes away however there is also Varenne (Line 13) and Invalides (Line 8, 13 and RER C) nearby making it easy to get around Paris. The RER C can take you directly to Versailles Palace.
