The city is very well located to choose as a destination for a vacation apartment rental in Cannes in order to discover the french riviera. You could not dream of a place more like paradise than Cannes. A town whose eclectic scenery has amazed even the most powerful. The Romans chose it as a place in which to settle. Also, the English chancellor, Lord Brougham, Napoleon and Cocteau and many others have all fallen in love with this vibrant, colorful town and its peaceful way of life.

The closest thing to an 'old town' is 'Le Suquet' overlooking the west end of the port. The 12th-century Tour de Mt. Chevalier, ramparts and 12th-16th-century church Notre-Dame-de-l'Espérance give a touch of medieval flavor to the city. Le Suquet area has narrow streets climbing up and around the hill, with a fine view from the top. Standing on the ancient rampart wall in front of the church, you can see east across the city, the port and the bay to the Cap de la Croisette, and to the west across the Gulf of La Napoule to the Massif de l'Estérel mountains.

We loved our stay in Cannes. This was our second time staying at the villa and we had a wonderful time. The pool was enjoyable, the setting was relaxing and the villa was in great shape. The fridge was also stocked with a few essentials when we arrived and we got fresh croissants the morning after, which was really appreciated. The host was most helpful and pleasant and he was kind enough to bring us to the city center most days as well as to visit Saint-Paul-de-Vence and to transport us back to the airport on our last day. We will definitely return! Thanks for everything, Jacky!

We loved the villa and Jacqui, our host, was fantastic helping us with every detail. The villa is beautifully situated with wonderful facilities. We appreciated arriving to a fridge stocked with a few things to get us going. We can't wait to return and thank you for all.

We had an amazing experience at Palm Springs Villa. Unfortunately we could only stay for 1 week...wished it had been a month. There was a group of 4 of us attending the Cannes Lions Festival over the week. Jack made sure that we were comfortable and safe. It was clean, private and well equipped. The communication before we arrived was also very efficient and made the experience very smooth. We loved it and will definitely be booking again. Thank you.

I sent my comments to Sophie she said that she would post them. It was a perfect stay. Jacky was a delightful host and gave us all the privace we needed. The only flaw was the lack of a diswasher. Can I view your calender for 2010? We think we might want to stay for a month

Hi Sophie, I wanted to tell you and any possible future guests about our delightful stay at the Palm Springs Villa - Cannes. We have been renting villas in the area for several years but this stay was by far the best !! Jacky was wonderful. He was the perfect host. His subtle attentiveness made our stay very comfortable and convenient without impacting our privacy in any way. The villa was lovely, well equipped, and very clean. The location was ideal and we felt so safe in the Domaine. The pool was the perfect temperature and spotless. The air conditioning was excellent and kept us very comfortable. When we had some minor requests they were dealt with by Jacky in a most efficient and warm manner. We look forward to booking again in 2011..but this time hopefully we will be able to stay for a month. The only thing that might improve this wonderful villa would be a dishwasher. However most guests would not do as much cooking as I did… as it is a passion of mine and probably would not miss one. We will contact you with regard to our 2011 vacation plans shortly.
